Anissa spoke with Stewy and Sue with the State of Illinois Comptoller’s office today as she was auditing a funeral home location in Illinois and had questions about the beneficiary designation on applications with contracts written through FDLIC. She reminded us that the funeral home cannot be listed as the beneficiary.
We need to remove the option in DIGicon to list “any funeral home as its interest may appear”. (According to the statute listed 225 IL CF 45 2A section B.)
